Restoring Faith, Freedom, and Excellence in Education: The America First Schools Initiative
For far too long, our children have been handcuffed to a failing public school system—one that has stripped away our faith in God and our love for country by removing prayer from schools and sidelining the Pledge of Allegiance to our Republic. Over the past 60 years, the Democrat-controlled teachers' unions have eroded the quality of our educational institutions and infused our curriculum with divisive and Marxist ideologies.
The results are alarming. In Connecticut, only 64% of students are reading and writing at grade level. The remaining 36% are being pushed through the system as functional illiterates, increasing their risk of falling into the school-to-prison pipeline. Our children deserve better.
My Proposal: Community-Based Educational Reform
I propose a new path forward—one that empowers parents, restores community values, and delivers high-quality education: the America First Schools initiative.
This initiative would allow homeschooling parents to collectively draw 70% of the portion of their property taxes currently allocated to public education and transfer those funds into a dedicated state-managed education fund. These funds would be used to create community-governed charter schools, operated by and for the communities they serve.
Key Components of America First Schools:
Local Control: These charter schools would be operated by homeschooling parents and local educators, not government bureaucrats or outside interests.
Repurposed Infrastructure: Vacant storefronts or office buildings can serve as school facilities. In return, building owners would receive temporary property tax exemptions for the duration of educational use.
Restoring Patriotism: Classes would begin with an optional morning prayer and a mandatory Pledge of Allegiance to instill respect and pride in our country.
Civics and History Revived: Cursive writing will be reintroduced, enabling students to read foundational documents like the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights in their original form.
Inclusive American History: History lessons will highlight the significant contributions of African Americans during the American Revolution, cultivating pride and unity, rather than division—eliminating the need for a single designated month of recognition.
Academic Excellence: Core subjects—math, science, social studies, and language arts—will be taught with rigor to prepare students to compete and succeed on a global stage.
This policy is not a call to eliminate the public school system but to offer a viable, values-based alternative for families who feel the current system no longer meets their children's educational or moral needs.
The America First Schools initiative is about choice, excellence, and a return to the foundational values that built this nation: faith, family, freedom, and education rooted in truth.
Law Enforcement
Proposal: Establishment of a Law Enforcement Performance Review Board
Our local law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve our communities. They deserve to be protected in return—both legally and professionally. To perform their duties effectively and safely, they must be equipped with the proper tools, resources, and legal protections. No officer’s personal assets or livelihood should be jeopardized simply for doing their job in good faith.
To that end, we must uphold and strengthen qualified immunity for all law enforcement officers acting within the bounds of the law. At the same time, we must also ensure there are strong, fair mechanisms in place to hold accountable those few who may abuse their authority. That balance is essential to public trust and officer morale.
I propose the creation of a Law Enforcement Performance Review Board, a non-partisan, independent body designed to review only the most serious allegations of Constitutional violations by law enforcement. This board would be composed of:
- Retired law enforcement officers with honorable service records
- Defense attorneys specializing in Constitutional law
- Retired members of the National Guard
- Other individuals with law enforcement or military experience
- Respected community leaders from diverse backgrounds
The Review Board will convene only when substantial and credible evidence exists that a law enforcement officer may have willfully violated a citizen’s Constitutional rights. If, after a thorough and impartial review, the Board determines that the officer's actions were intentional and egregious, criminal charges may be pursued, and qualified immunity would no longer apply in that specific case.
To further protect both officers and the public, body cameras will be standard issue for all officers. This ensures transparency and provides clear evidence in cases of dispute or accusation—protecting officers from false claims and upholding public confidence in law enforcement.
This system is designed to be used only under exceptional circumstances and not as a political weapon. It is not a platform for frivolous lawsuits or reputation attacks but a necessary safeguard to preserve the integrity of policing and civil liberties alike.
It is time to restore the confidence of our law enforcement community. Let’s get our officers back on the streets—equipped, respected, and empowered to protect our neighborhoods.

Give Parents Back Their Voice!!
No Teen Limited Proxy
I support the fundamental right of parents to oversee and make healthcare decisions for their minor children. Parents should not be required to obtain their minor child’s consent in order to access or review medical treatments or procedures recommended or provided by healthcare professionals.
Scientific research has consistently shown that the human brain—particularly the areas responsible for impulse control, judgment, and long-term decision-making—does not fully mature until approximately age 25. Given this well-established fact, it is deeply concerning to propose that a minor should have the authority to make life-altering medical decisions, especially those involving irreversible physical changes, without parental involvement.
In situations involving suspected rape or incest, exceptions should be made to allow medical professionals to assess and treat the minor without prior parental consent, under the principle of inferred consent, in order to protect the immediate health and safety of the child.
Veteran's affairs
Honoring Our Veterans
Our Veterans are the bedrock of our nation. Because of their selfless service, we enjoy the peace, freedom, and prosperity that define the American way of life. It is not only our duty—but our moral obligation—to ensure that every Veteran feels respected, supported, and valued by the country they served.
I will fight relentlessly to ensure that our Veterans receive the care and benefits they have rightfully earned. This includes access to safe housing, high-quality medical care, comprehensive mental health support, and guaranteed food security. Veterans should have the freedom to choose their healthcare providers and access services from any facility they trust—without red tape or delay.
If America can allocate hundreds of billions of dollars to foreign aid and undocumented migrants, then we certainly have the resources to take care of those who wore the uniform and defended our freedoms. Our Veterans deserve nothing less than our full commitment.
Agriculture
Farmers: The Heartbeat of Our Nation
Farmers are the backbone of every nation. Without them, a country becomes vulnerable to anyone controlling its food supply. For too long, powerful corporations have used their influence in Congress to monopolize the agricultural industry, pushing thousands of small, local farms out of business with unfair regulations.
I will fight for the Constitutional right of every small farmer to sell raw milk, eggs, soap, and any other lawful product they produce on their farms. It’s not the government’s job to dictate what farmers can or cannot do on their land. It’s time to stand together and remind these corrupt bureaucrats that they work for us, not the corporate elites!
I will ensure that every farmer has access to government-subsidized storm damage insurance, coverage for terrorist attacks, and protection from natural disasters. Our farmers deserve to be supported, not burdened by unnecessary regulations.
I will stand with every American farmer. I will never sell out to the Marxist agriculture elites who are in cahoots with China and other globalist powers trying to undermine America’s food supply and independence.

Defending Our Second Amendment Rights
Our Founding Fathers granted us the Second Amendment as a critical safeguard within our Constitution, a protection designed to preserve our individual liberties. Over time, however, we have witnessed the slow erosion of these rights, with Marxist-leaning Democratic politicians gradually undermining the Second Amendment. Alarmingly, there has been little resistance from the State Republican Party to this relentless assault.
The time for silence is over.
We stand united in unwavering support of the Connecticut Citizens Defense League (CCDL) and their tireless efforts to safeguard our Second Amendment rights. We will provide every available resource to help them protect and strengthen these rights across Connecticut.
There shall be no further restrictions on firearms, ammunition, or magazine capacity. The right to bear arms is a fundamental right—one that shall not be infringed upon. Period.
Protect our borders
I will dedicate every effort to ensuring that all our borders remain secure, safeguarding the rights and safety of every American citizen, particularly those living in border towns. States that choose to harbor illegal immigrants and declare themselves Sanctuary States will lose all federal funding.
Politicians who prioritize the needs of illegal immigrants over those of American citizens will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. The resources required for border security will be readily available to all agencies tasked with protecting our borders across the country.
Any governor or elected official who deliberately obstructs the efforts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in their mission to arrest and deport illegal immigrants will face removal from office and arrest by Homeland Security for committing acts of treason against the American people and the Constitution of the United States.
Criminal Justice Reform
An estimated 77 million Americans have a criminal record, a staggering number that reflects the complex issues at play in our criminal justice system. The question is: what can we do to support those who have found themselves in this situation? I believe the answer lies in reform—focused on mental health treatment, addiction services, and job training programs. For those who have been formerly incarcerated and have paid their debt to society, we must provide opportunities for education, support groups, and resources to help them rebuild their lives.
Many of these individuals were raised in environments where they faced significant challenges. There is a need for reform in our public education system, where far too many children are exposed to harmful ideologies that promote division rather than unity. We must invest in educational reforms that focus on empowering children, fostering pride in themselves, and creating opportunities for success.
Our goal should be to bring all children together—regardless of their background—and restore a sense of national unity, pride, and respect for our Constitutional Republic. Together, we can create a society that truly embodies the ideals of opportunity, justice, and freedom for all.
